I was shocked that in the first fight JJ didn't even try to slid his lead foot inside ZZ's. I mean it is the most basic boxing knowledge that a RH facing a LH should always try to do that. I thought every novice would've learnt that. He also didn't even try to use side-to-side motion. As a result, every time he threw his RH he was square on & in position for ZZ's LH. Add in JJ's glacial reflexes & lack of head movement & you get someone who looked much harder for ZZ to miss than to hit. Can he improve? Well, he can scarcely do worse, but, IMO, his flaws are too basic to be easily remedied. I think he will make it a bit harder but expect the same outcome. Am I alone in thinking ZZ is reminiscent of the 1990s Foreman Mk II ?
