I LOVE PWiLL, but pwill's no Hopkins. Pavlik is too strong for PWill. Remember when Williams faded against Margarito in the late rounds?

Pavliks power has been a factor in most of his fights. Williams is not a slick boxer and has never faced a KO puncher. So its pretty obvious the possibility is there.

Willaims' lateral movement is too good for Pavlik. He also has a great chin.

Jesus Fucking Christ. Paul Williams isn't a master boxer people!! If Pavlik is one dimensional, you best believe Williams is too.

Let's go p-dub..1000 shots to the dome of the ghost is going to make kelly get ghost from atlantic city.. Pavlik threw no more than 50 punches per round in all 12 rounds with a total of 463 against ex..u have to be more active than that regardless of defense,at least throw the shots.all other fights pavlik averages roughly 70 per round.if pavlik throws that str8 right and lands consistantly could be a short night for p-dub,but i think williams will just outwork him and get the decision, wonder who the judges will be..

I like Williams a lot, but Im leaning toward Pavlik in this fight. Kelly punches hard and straight. I think he will catch Paul sooner or later. Just a hunch.

I also think Pavlik will KO him similar to the way he KO'd JT....by hounding him into a corner and unleashing hell on him, well maybe not that drastic but I think Pavlik will walk through anything P-Dub throws at him.....the question is, can Williams take Kellys punches?....I'd love for P-Dub to win this, but it's a long shot....my opinion anyways

if Williams wins, I will never question him again and will put him top 3 pound for pound on my list.....

Margarito made the same claims: "I will match his workrate...he can't take my punches...I will wear him down...etc."

The fact is that you can't have a high workrate when your opponent is constantly getting off first and getting off faster. Pavlik has a chance because of his power. But I will tell you right now that this fight will be nothing like the first fight with Taylor. Paul is in another league from Taylor. And don't even bring up Hopkins. At 160 Paul Williams beats Hopkins much more convincingly than Taylor did.
