He was the "unified champ" like Kambosos was, and I don't rate him either. Wilder at least has more defenses than AJ, Fury, and Ruiz put together. What's the next best name on their resumes? Ortiz. Except the one Ruiz fought had already been knocked out twice by Wilder and was 43. Ruiz still couldn't even finish him. What you're really saying is that you don't like Wilder. Ruiz doesn't deserve anything. If he were a real champ he would have trained in the gym instead of in the taco shack. His "title reign" was 6 months. Wilder's was 5 years. And his only losses were to the consensus #1, who he put on the canvas 4 times.
This isn't about "liking Wilder" you d rider it's just facts. A 50/50 split is fair.

Ruiz has achieved more than Wilder.
    Wilder has accomplished nothing.

Get off his nuts. Wilder ducked Andy.

Take a good look in the mirror. You haven't had a single fact yet, and wouldn't recognize one if you saw it. I don't think Wilder is that great, but Ruiz is worse on every level of comparison, from defenses to common opponents.

Ruiz was the unified heavyweight champ.
Wilder was the guy that got steamrolled by Fury 2 times and barely got a draw lol
The truth is, neither Ruiz nor Wilder are worth a mint payday. They are both former champions who are unlikely to ever be champions again.

Ruiz has superior opposition. Parker and AJ are leagues better than anyone Wilder has fought.
Wilder was getting battered by Ortiz and Fury demolished him in 2 fights while cruising by in the first fight.

Ruiz won his belts from a prime AJ while Wilder won his single vacant belt by fighting some bum.

I agree but that has nothing to do with their potential purse split IF they ever decide to actually fight.

Wilder has been inactive for more than a year while AJ has been fighting 2 times a year. Im sure people wanted to see Wilder vs Ruiz while AJ vs Helenius happened.

Wilder had no reason to duck Ruiz.

Some will watch it, but is not a fight fans are clamoring for. Well I'm sure Ruiz is trying to get as much money as possible, which can be unrealistic at times. He can take something or take nothing.
