Watching recent training videos, I can see why Wilder doesn't want to fight him. Ruiz has gotten himself into shape, he hits hard and he looks very fast and moves well at his current weight. Wilder has a shot in any fight, but Ruiz would present him a big problem....Andy can box well and looks in alot better shape than he did against Ortiz.

A motivated and in shape Ruiz beats Wilder and Joshua again. If he lets himself get fat and slacks again, he is toast.

Wilder already called him out. That means he wants to fight. If he keeps overpricing himself he will never get a fight. Some of these boxers think they are worth more than they really are. Why doesn't he make an offer? Exactly he is not worth much.

Waited to long. Now there's a bunch of guys he could beat that are or will become mandatories that will get those fights before him. He has to beat one of those guys to maybe get a spot and that probably means a 25% split.

The Wilder fight was and may still be his best option.
