Yeah they should take the Berlanga fight, even if it’s on a MR show, that’s easy work for Munguia.

You left out the part where the reason he hasn’t fought for a major title in 5 years is because he’s side stepped, dodged and duck every opportunity to do so.

I don’t know about all that. There’s a reason why Oscar has steered Mungia away from quality opposition. I think it’s the same reason why he kept Ryan Garcia away from tough opponents. Deep down, I think Oscar knows neither are top level fighters.

I tired hearing Oscar say that his guy is willing to fight anyone only to fight Joe blow. Isn't Munguia and and his management team tired of wasting your career? Time to put up or shut up....

Munguia, like someone mentioned in another thread, will be 100-0 and not have even have challenged for a belt. What a joke!
I was thinking along those same lines: “We want to fast track him,” De La Hoya said of Munguia." How is putting a 42-fight boxer up for a title fight "fast tracking"?

“We want to fast track him,” De La Hoya said of Munguia. “We want him to fight for the world title already."

Fcking Hell. Munguia is like that kid with 2 Phds and 4 Master's degrees who just will not enter the workforce.

This is the actual truth. Despite his *******-addled brain, Oscar retains enough sense to understand what Munguia and Garcia's levels are. As frustrating as Golden Boy is as a promotional outfit they might actually know what they're doing - at least as far as the smart business side of things goes.
