The swollen eye was no coincidence. It was only a very logical consequence of Joyce`s fighting style, which means, he is a statue, he doesn`t move his head at all.

Zhang`s left hand will find this eye all over again. It was funny actually, Zhang was punching him in the face with straight left hand, Joyce was doing nothing.

You may be right, in that - just maybe - Zhang's size and arm's length could reveal themselves to be tailor-made for doing damage again in that sense.

However, Joyce doesn't look overly ****** to me; I suppose he will do something to better protect himself. It's in fact an intriguing rematch. But perhaps Zhang has already shown his best in the first fight. At least I hope so, given that my few coins will go on Joyce KO late...

Zhang won every round on top of doing physical damage to Joyce. Joyce was battered. he will never be the same again.
Yes but everyone on this forum gave Eubank no chance!

Tyson Fury easily destroyed Wilder in their 2nd fight and then went life and death with him in the next. No 2 fights or performances are the same.

I will say you view is the logical one though. You may well be right. But I still think Joyce will win. And he wasn't even put down? (as far as I remember) Joyce gets battered every fight dude. No sure why you think he is finished?

Joyce has to find another way of defense than blocking punches with his face. Hopefully he learns to either duck or put his hands up otherwise Zhang is going to beat him up again. If Joyce doesn't make the adjustments and loses then he will be a good division placeholder or gatekeeper. I got Zhang by 8 rounds.

Size matters. In both fights the physically larger fighter won the rematch. That's why there are weight classes.

This is also why Lennox Lewis is so good in rematches.... because he's physically larger than his opponents.

guess who is the larger man in this fight.

                I'm leaning towards Joyce.

He'll take some big shots early but if he can stay in the fight then he can definitely win by late stoppage or points.

I only see Zhang stopping him by injuring him. I can't see him actually knocking him out or forcing a stoppage. That's a pretty narrow pathway to victory.

And he will fade. He was fading in the first fight.

I came in here to say exactly this! Step left! If he can do that for 6 rounds, I think he can stop Zhang late.

It's hard to see how Joyce can win, unless he's transformed into a very different fighter with big improvements.

I think Zhang does it again, whether as easily or a somewhat more difficult fight.

If this fight goes the distance Frank Warren wins it, if you know what I mean, nudge nudge, wink wink lol

(putting a bet on Zhang wins again by KO)
