Poor effort by Gesta. Tough but he wasn't trying to win the fight for very long tonight. Not that he was gonna, but the lack of effort isn't great. Hope he retires now. And I'd love to see Zepeda get a big fight vs SOMEBODY.

De La Hoya sounded like he didn't want risk it just yet he just says the sky is the limit everytime he's asked about the big fights.

Zepeda is a machine, pretty undermatched opponent nowhere near that level but, Kambosas next surely !? Be a good scrap. Pity Haney has gone up, would of liked to see him deal with Zepeda engine

First time watching him live against probably the worlds toughest punchbag but very impressive all the same.

Cut the ring off well, jabbed his way in, stabilised him & unloaded absolute relentlessly to head & body. Crazy volume was worried he might punch himself out but he was barely breathing. That boys a problem.

I like Gesta. Lot of heart and good skill, I really did believe he had potential to be next Manny in the beginning.. In the end it came down to his lack of real punching power and size. It's unfortunate he was never able to become Champion but at 35 its time. No need to be taking that type of punishment..
