  • Comments Thread For: Jermell Charlo On Whether His Brother Will Bounce Back: Truthfully, I Really Don't Know

Jermell Charlo answered Brian Custer's discomforting question as honestly as he could. As much as he wants to see his long-inactive twin brother "bounce back," the undisputed 154-pound champion couldn't say with any certainty whether that will happen. Jermall Charlo is undefeated and still owns the WBC middleweight title, but the 33-year-old Houston native hasn't fought since June 2021 and apparently passed on a shot at challenging Canelo

Is he bi-polar or something? Is he living with major depressive disorder? What’s his issue?

This is as honest a statement as you'll ever hear coming from a boxers own mouth, and it's in reference to his brothers ongoing situation.

Best of luck coming back. I don't like to see any man is suffering from mental health problems. It's debilitating. So give this young man your prayers because it's a tough thing to deal with.

None of your business MoFo. We aren't family, nor are we medical professionals. We're just fight fans so no right to know. I thought it was a dirty question to ask & Jermell, who I'm increasingly warming to as a really decent & thoughtful young man, was obviously pretty uncomfortable with it. Jermell needs to concentrate on a huge fight with Canelo. Jermall needs to get well soon & boxing is a lot less important than his health.

No disrespect to issues, but c'mon man if every boxer who had women issues was holding belts things would be out of hand. Come back and fight for it ffs.

If your own brother is saying your future is uncertain I'm amazed the wbc...nope not shocking...someone is paying in someway for this nonsense to happen.
