The ESPN guy wanted Gonzalez to win so bad but the real judges saw what happened. Lopez’ punches were clearer and harder all night long. Gonzalez is the quintessential workhorse but just moving forward and throwing without landing much of anything is not going to cut it.

Those cards were too wide. It was a good fight that was much closer than those cards. No controversy here but is shows that Lopez can be outworked.
