Rewatched, and Xander stepped up his timing. He really nullified Valenzuela by timing his stick right as Valenzuela tried to get his offense going, and then moving. Too early and you get countered or it has no effect, too late and you still eat the shot. He got caught a few times, but his timing is getting better, and it's harder than you might think to land with that kind of power while on the move.

Lopez is unconventional, but I think he better stay clear of Robeisy Ramirez. We'll see if the champs in that division shoot for unification.

I expect 2025, but yeah it probably is a matter of time.

Inoue ends 2023 against Tapales, then Nery/Casimero/MJ for 2024 while filling his body in prep for feather. 2025 against Lopez seems like a realistic goal.

I'm thinking late 2024. But 2025 would probably serve him better

Yes. This was a really good card. I'll be watching it all week. I was impressed by Zayas performance. He's really been stepping it up lately. I agree, he's now a contender at 154 lbs.
Venado's turned into something of an anomaly, cleaning out his division and continues to grow confidence. His style has greatly improved since I first started following him.
And EL General is being handled smartly for his TOP RANK network debut.
