Joshua-Wilder for no title is a big fight in England, but the best they could do there would be, I imagine, a total pot of what, 20 million? Maybe 25? At 50-50 we're talking 10-12 million each.

That is a lot of money, but Joshua just got 8million to fight ****in' Helenius.

I just don't think both parties are going to proceed with fighting for like 1/5th of what they originally planned to make.
    I understand the negative thoughts.

But they both want to fight now. I don't think it was just money.

After years of Eddie's smoke & mirror's bullshido carrying the carefully matched Kanye the world sees them now for what they are.
Aj couldn't fill a home town arena & got booed his last fight in front of the Saudis & Wilder, when he fight's does 100k ppvs.

Such a shame they didn't have the stones to fight In 18 or 19. Today this is about as big as Brooke Khan. Vegas can have it, no way this fills a stadium here now.

I trash Eddie Hearn a lot and rightfully so, but this one isn't on him.

Joshua, Wilder, and Hearn put an honest effort in here... the Saudis pulled the rug out from under it and that's all there is to it.

Don't always need to make one guy a hero and the other a villain. It just didn't work out.

While not 100% as pessimistic as you.... what you lay out is the most likely. This screams "end of career" kind of fight for these two if it happens on it's own. I do think it will happen but I doubt it is soon. Unless, like you say, it is part of the huge HW card rumored for months now. We will see after Fury gets done making bank for his sparring session in a few weeks......

For now, I will file Wilder-Joshua as "when I see it"

You know George Washington was British right?

Joshua's approval rating with hardcore boxing fans, and the general public 'Has possible never been higher'.

Fury's in comparison, is at his worst 'Fury has lost the vote mate'.

But yes people do see Joshua for what he is? He has been a Heavyweight who has mostly overachieved, and made top fights.

Smoke and mirrors, it is clear what Joshua's ability is 'Joshua is a very capable boxer, he is a more objectively experienced at World level compared to Fury. And not so long ago he went 24 rounds with Usyk, two fights back to back and made both fights competitive'.

Fury has not fought at elite level skill for skill for 7-8 years 'Wilder was a elite level fight, but in terms of technical skill, no boxing purist can rate Wilder as a elite level fighter. And that is no disrespect to Wilder, because I rate him extremely highly within this era of Heavyweights.

It is Tyson Fury's career since Wladimir Kilschko, that theoretically could of been all smoke and mirrors '80% of Fury's reputation is built off beating Wilder, that is it'.

Because he got the win vs Kiltschko, but really that win is skill for skill a tad overrated 'Fury was backed up all night, never beat up or decked Kiltschko'. And unfortunately a Champion for close to 10 years was denied a rematch.

It just seems like all hardcore Fury fans can do now, is brag about the most extrinsically flippant pointless of things 'You cannot talk about anything else during this current Fury reign, it is the worst WBC Heavyweight reign for the past 25 years' etc.

And Wilder hasn’t helped matters by doing nothing for the past year besides train -without actually fighting - and make childish, arrogant reply videos to Ruiz.

Hearn, Joshua and Wilder have all been playing it safe while waiting around for this promised pot of Saudi gold - and they have gotten exactly what they deserved by having it snatched away from them.
                    Exactly this.

Not even the Saudis are ****** enough to spend multiple millions of pounds to watch AJ run around the ring like a wimp.

Now MBS has got involved, that money is going to Fury and Usyk instead.
