I'm tired of the "I'm the A side, you're the B side" talk. Sometimes in order to sign on the dotted line the money has to make sense. Stevenson basically wanted Martin to fight for nothing.

After sanctioning fees, paying your team, and paying your taxes, fighters are left with 25% of the offer.

None on these top ranked fighters should be fighting for peanuts.

I see one of the reasons Martin backed out now.

Shame on Shakur. He cost the fans a good fight, and a chance for one of these fighter's stock to grow.

    I'm tired of this crap!!!!
Tell me the championships Martin has won. Tell me how many times hes headlined on a major network.

60/40 split wouldve been ok imo. But Martin hasn't done sh.it in his career to be worth 50/50 at this point vs Shakur who's won legit titles in what 2 or 3 divisions?!

They agreed to a term sheet then pulled out when it was time to sign the real contract. Stop making up stories

Nah, Martin doesn't deserve 50% against Shakur. Not only has Shakur accomplished more in the ring than Martin, Shakur is the one bringing the most of the gate and viewers

              Yeah, that's pretty unreasonable.

Shakur's an Olympic medalist, 2 division champion, P4P rated & probably America's most famous up & coming star.

No way Frank expects to get 50% out of him.

Unless he's fighting Tank for beaucoup dollars, this is a pure duck on Frank Martin's part

Anybody that's trying to justify 50/50 is fair and deserved for Martin, hates Shakur Stevenson I assume.

I don't care whether Shakur is a superstar or not... or isn't as big as he thinks he is.

Stevenson is DEFINITELY going to bring in more of his fans/supporters. He has headlined primetime Saturday cards. He has won belts in multiple divisions. 1.1million followers on instagram (whether this shyt matters or not, maybe not). Frank Martin has 132 thousand. 50/50 is not deserved. 60/40 or 70/30 in favor of Stevenson is more than fair.

Well it was going to purse bid for a vacant title. So that's what he would be entitled to.

I didn't even see many people bothering to see Frank's last fight with that Armenian fella,
what's his name? All I remember was no one talked about it until the last 2 days leading to fight night.

I did see the fight. You know, I have developed penchant for cherrypick gone wrong type fights.
Doesn't really matter to me now who these cherrypickers pick for their fights. I'll root for the showcase victim any time.

                    Bring on another Harutyunyan please!

Considering Shakur immediately deleted this post, I doubt this is the truth.
