A chance for two belts in one fight and eubank doesnt want it? He can't see a way to turn being a two-belt champion into big $$? Maybe even a Canelo shot?

Certainly looks and sounds a lot like a duck.

I mean, the general public doesn't care about boxing anyways, so that's the kind of bar that is entirely about ducking.

can see his point he could fight one of them for 500k lose and then lose some value to the british public to put him in a huge domestic fight worth 5-10 million minimum. Eubank knows he isn't true world champion material and yet he is gonna retire a wealthy man

people are gonna buy the Benn vs Eubank cos hes coming off a redemption win not because he has two belts

I'm pretty sure that he knows who Janibek is - he was called the new Golovkin a while back - learning that there was a new middleweight version of Golovkin - had him break out in a cold sweat as he remembered how close he was to getting pulverised by prime Golovkin in 2016 before he lost his pen. Luckily brave and deluded Kell Brook stepped in to be pulverised instead.

he might have to wait a long time for the Brook fight - he himself has said it's not happening until Benn his totally exonerated and free to fight - the speed these legal cases move through the various organisations is snail-like.

Best chance in a while to go grab a belt. Will be a step back money-wise but so what. Win a title and there's a route for even bigger fights.

Adames is the #3 by Ring. Lara is #4. Eubank, Munguía, and Liam Smith have already ducked Janibek. Aside from GGG, there's not really anyone else with anything close to a name. Charlo couldn't get his crap together for a Canelo payday so he's certainly not fighting Alimkhanuly. Dereyvanchenko is #5, and he's most certainly damaged goods. Adames is a reasonable call-out for the wasteland that is 160.

Embarrassing comments by a fighter who waltzed around with the IBO title as if it meant anything. Eubank has fallen into the trap a host of British fighters do, which is collect big cheques in domestic match-ups, while not taking risks abroad.

Janibek would batter Eubank Jr. It would look like the Korobov fight minus the shoulder injury.
