Bivol's been calling for a Beterbiev fight since at least 2021. Before that, he was lined up for a unification against Kovalev before the latter's surprise loss to Eleider Alvarez. He's been looking for unification bouts ever since he got the title. GTFO with this crap that he's afraid of Beterbiev. He's been calling for the fight, and Bob Arum is scared of that fight, so much so that he's using the Russian invasion as an excuse to avoid the fight, as if Bivol is a personal hitman for *****. Not to mention the WBC is protecting Beterbiev too.

If he really wanted the fight (which he didn't) he would have grown a pair and paid Bivol what he's worth and made the fight, but you know, it makes for a convenient excuse that casuals lap up so....
Canelo offered him more than he will get paid in any other fight.
Stop trying to justify this duck.
The FACT is that Bivol ducked the rematch.
It's funny how you try to take the "higher" road by saying we as fans should not be concerned about the business.
That's a bunch of bullocks.
Of course we should pay attention to the business because that's how you know who is ducking.
If you get offered several times more money than you'll ever make anywhere else and still reject the offer, then you're the one ducking.

More people who can't see past money. It's like they don't understand the concept of fighting for legacy, and proving yourself against the best. Bivol beat him comprehensively. He gets nothing other than a paycheck vs a guy he already beat decisively, other than a chance to get robbed by corrupt judging. I'm not going to judge prize fighters who do want to treat it as a business, because that's absolutely their right. But you should also be able to acknowledge that other people may have different motivations.

Tank is getting to that level too! Bivol is NOT on that level! It's a very bad business decision on his part! He already knew he wasn't getting Beterbiev, before he turned down Canelo! That makes it extra ******!
As far as what's posted on this site daily that you read, you and I know these are some of the most hateful, biased, and ignorant posters around. Why would you expect them to give Floyd credit for anything? They just called Spence a bum that was never skilled after receiving his only loss to a great champion, disregarded that he beat 3 champions for 3 belts like it was nothing.
