Shakur Stevenson, the most overrated fighter in planeta.

Your point is ****** cause we all know he’s avoided for a DAMN good reason. Those boxers can do something that you can’t. THEY CAN SEE THAT THEY CANT WHIP HIM. Do what you do best and keep making excuses.Comment

Bro, im the More objetive póster on here.
Today in the thread about Zepeda I said he Is a pretty meh fighter. I dont care if a boxer Is not from my country or not. For example I always said that Valdez was overrated.
Look, when I looked Rigondeaux I see great great talent, I was impressed, the same with Gervonta or Crawford.
This guy would be a very good champion but not a legend, His reach Is being a Champion like Porter, Charlo, those kind of champions not like Floyd, Crawford, Mosley, etc.
You need to see what the media Is making in the hype of this guy, its obsene, and you need to look the arrogant attitude of this guy , thats not how boxing works.
This guy Is not that slick like media Is creating, he Is not that slick or elusive.
His rivals are not great champions with great power or skills. Navarrete toyed with Valdez, Valdez Is the Best win of Stevenson. The point? The Best win of Stevenson Is not a great champion.
This guy has ALL to prove, AND he Is not that good and im pretty sure this guy has not good chin.
Edwin De los Santos Is able to K O him out.
He has like 2 millions of followers in instagram, thats the reason why he has that support of the media.

Shakur possesses a far higher level of skill than Judah. Judah was athletically gifted, he was nowhere as technically gifted as Shakur is.
Floyd was supremely talented, so was someone like Judah, and I don't see that level of talent from shakur despite all the hype. Just being a good slick boxer does not make you the next floyd. The hype is out of control. People use adjective like 'supreme' way too lightly. I would love to see him fight Santos and see what he does with a legit dangerous fighter unlike a midget like Valdez.
He’ll make easy work of Santos, I don’t see that fight being competitive.Comment

Exactly this Is my point.Pure eye-test fighter.
He is skilled but he has beaten nobody but guys much, much smaller than him and terribly limited who haven't looked the same since peeing hot. And they've been beaten more decisively for most part.
Maybe not overrated but he is certainly overhyped.
He hasn't proven anything at 135 and we have everyone favouring him over the top dogs and even the ones in the division above. Slow the hype! We're yet to see him face a decent 135lber nevermind him easily beating the top guys at 140.
I'd even say he was more textbook sound than I would saying he was exceptionally skilled. Maybe he is though I am just yet to see it because of his lack of competition. I think he looks rather basic personally.
I find it odd why he is so hyped compared to what he has done and the same people hyping belittle much more established and proven rivals. Or they say eye-test but their reasoning for hyping Shakur can only be the same reason. Or they will claim other fighters are boring yet Shakur who is supposedly the second coming has more or less the same style maybe even more methodical than they are. Support who you like I am just not understanding the hype & what looks to me to be double standards.
Shakur Is not that great
The reason why the fans say that Is because the USA media, look what the commentators say when he fights, they overrated any single movement of Shakur.
And the thing Is he Is one of the most arrogant fighters in history, literally he dont respect any rival and always Is talking about other champions in other weights.
He thinks he Is a beast,a legend.
You cant be great with that attitude.
Sooner or later he would be K O brutally .
I think Gervonta K.O him brutally, Teo Lopez too.

Whichever way you wanna try and spin it, he dominated the #1 ranked fighter in his division.
It does not matter, Valdez was not the unified fighter and Navarrete showed that Valdez was not a great win.
Nope, Navarrete Is a 130 fighter with only 2 fights in the division, but he could win a fight vs Stevenson in 130.
Stevenson real weight Is 140 pounds.
I know about boxing, Shakur Is a very good fighter but he wont be a legend or Is in that kind of level.
His chin Is unproven, he has holes in His defense too.
You only can be a supremely talented fight when you destroyes another great fighters.
Shakur has 0 great wins.
The USA media Is the most obsene media in all the world.
They dont know about Inoue because he was born in japan when he has 7 years destryoing champs in every división, AND His hype Is not near of the hype of Stevenson.
Reason? He Is from japan.
Mark my words, Shakur would be K.O when he face a great explosive fighter with skills and K.O power.
And that arrogant energy would be against himself sooner or later.
He’ll very likely clean up at 135 too.

I have seen More boxing that you , trust me.Someone's clearly motivated by something other than reason and knowledge. If you don't know what you are looking at with Shakur, that's just because of your own lack of knowledge about boxing. He's the hardest guy to hit in all of boxing. I don't think his style will age well though, because it's dependent on reflexes and speed and vision, all of which fade with age, but he's got a long career ahead of him before that happens.
If he fought Navarrete you would just make excuses about how he was bullying the smaller guy. You're not a boxing fan. Just another dime a dozen hater.
You cant say you aré the hardest guy to hit when your opposition Is that poor and limited.
Its unfair.
Valdez was outboxed by Navarrete AND Conceicao too.
And thats the only decen rival of Shakur list.

You mean Shakur is more technically superior to Judah? Sure but lots of fighters were more technically superior to Roy Jones or Ali, does not mean they were more gifted. I don't see any amazing gifts or attributes from Shakur. He has good speed, timing but nothing exceptional. He does not have big reach, and lacks power, so I think he will struggle once he fights skilled opponents his own size or bigger.Comment

That's the problem. They say he's overrated this, overhyped that, fought no one blah blah.
But when you ask them why Martin ran away from an opportunity such as this, they have no answer.
Frank running away from an almost perfect opportunity to show his wares and exposed an overyhyped,
overrated fighter is perfect evidence of someone being ducked in broad daylight.
What more evidence does anyone need?
