Joshua can probably still sell in the u.k and windmill can't get ruiz to fight him. Both are ducks

The Saudi money for Joshua-Fury, before Wilder-Fury III was ordered, took a long time to come through and if I remember correctly was only finalized due to Daniel Kinahan getting involved.

The Saudis wanted Fury vs Usyk and AJ vs Wilder the same night. Now they know Fury isn‘t interested and Wilder vs AJ is a non- title fight and as a stand alone event not big enough worldwide……

There is no longer any such thing as "the Saudis" now...it is either Skills Challenge (SK) or General Entertainment Authority (GEA). SK wanted the Fury-Usyk and AJ-Wilder but they seem not to have the govt. backing any longer if reports are to be believed. The guys with the funding (GEA) never talked about any AJ-Wilder but are hosting the Fury-Ngannous fight. Would GEA be interested in Fury-Usyk and/or AJ-Wilder? perhaps, but negotiations will have to start afresh. Also, unless GEA and SK are collaborating, having Usyk fight in Saudi for big money could potentially be a problem.

I believe that could be a reason why Fury is not interested in the Usyk fight unless "he is a good boy and accepts less percentage" which indicates that the Fury-Usyk match can be held at Wembley if Usyk accepts the 30% and makes no issue about the rematch clause (i.e., either 50-50 if Usyk wins and 80-20 if Fury wins, or simply no rematch at all). For the big money fights, it is a question mark whether GEA would sponsor a fight involving Usyk who is an SK fighter so there might not be big Saudi money for that. If the two en****** can work together, that would be great but I am not sure what their relationship is.

And that is the reason Fury-Usyk never took place in Dec. or Feb. or Apr. because the backs of that fight, SK, never came up with an offer they said they would be giving very soon. The stadium not being ready was just not making much sense. People here kept blaming Fury for "not accepting the Saudi offer" when there was no offer made. Now we know why.
