Trying to figure out why all the hate on Frank Martin? Do we know why it fell apart. Was it money, if so, nobody can get made because Stevenson made it about money previously.

It is a shot for a vacant title. A shot that a lot of fighters want and he is stepping off of it. Also it is a high profile fight for both guys and a matchup the captures the imagination. He is walking out of it probably waiting to see if another title vacates so he can fight for it against a lesser contender.

Kind of surprised this fight was even announced.

How would James be able to train Martin for Shakur, Charlo for Canelo, Spence for Crawford, Joshua for Wilder, without conflict? All of his fighters are the underdogs in those fights.

Not mad about it, just disappointed. Would've been a good fight.

Because Derrik James is not that great, otherwise they would be favorites and there is nothing he can do other than fight bums to be favorite.

blah blah sick of hearing this when he has not done anything to warrant it. I don't see anything special about him. Standards have really dropped these days when a good slick boxer is apparently 'special'.
