I have defended Fury at times over this but statements like this don’t help his case.

He needs someone to put a muzzle on him.

Translation: I will duck whomever I want because I said it's ok. If you don't believe me, ask me or Frank Warren and we will tell you it's more than ok and we'll also tell you who you should blame for it.

To hell with this prima donna nonsense. I hope Hergovic pushes hard for his shot and does not back down.

I don't get it. He obviously already has more money than he'll ever need, why not dare to be an ATG and chase legacy?
Usyk has the right mindset and that is what he is trying.

Even if Fury looses to Usyk, I'm sure he can still make money doing his **** shows with ex MMA fighters or WWE.
I agree with everything you say. If you are truly a champion, you find a way to make undisputed championship fights. That's why I respect the hell out of Spence for making the fight with Crawford happen. If you really, really want to define your legacy and go down as one of the best heavyweights in boxing, you make the fight with Usyk. If not, don't bore me with crossover exhibitions where you get paid handsomely. Great for your pocketbook. Bad for your reputation and legacy. Apparently, Fury doesn't really aspire to greatness. He'll be remembered as the "Gypsy Chicken."

Both sides are to be asked the same question.

The point is Team Fury is the one to send offers to Team Usyk, but not the other way around. This is regardless of what the two fighters exchange via social media, the contracts are way more complicated than that, but we will never know the details.

Fury/Warren and Usyk/Eddie bet on different horses. It turns out, as even Eddie is now accepting, that politics has changed in the region. We need to understand that nobody is putting up the money individually but they were banking on the tourism/other ministries to put up a site fee. Well, the horse that Fury/Warren bet on is alive and kicking while the horse that Usyk/Eddie bet on seems like it's dead.

This could be potentially good news since Fury is working with the live horse and they could send an offer to Usyk or Joshua for a fight next year. It is up to them now to accept or not. I am not sure without govt backing what kind of money Skills Challenge can put up or whether the two horses in Saudi will cooperate given that Usyk is now signed with them. Would once prince who is being sidelined allow for his fighter to fight in an event organized by another prince? Frankly, I do not know how their relationship are but it is a big question to ask now for any undisputed discussion.

Usyk can wait, and maybe slide in a tune up performance where he isn't taken out by a belly punch.
Dude are you seriously trying to defend Fury vs Ngannou just because its "bigger money"?

Are you a boxing fan or Fury's accountant?

It's disrespectful you are calling Usyk a contendor when he has fought and beaten literally everyone they've put in front of him! Everyone he beat at CW is better than anybody in Fury's resume with the exception of Klithsko and arguably Wilder.
He will be in the HOF, Fury will not!

Check out Fury's recent interview with Sky and then come back and tell me how you can still support him.
The one where he said he is not interested in being undisputed or chasing greatness and that he has no desire to fight any of the other top HW's and he boxes only for money now not glory.

I get it, its a tough sport and I would even respect his hustle of fighting only for money if he would drop the belt and let Usyk unify for it againts the next top challenger.

All Fury will be remembered for in a few years will be for ducking Usyk!

He doesn’t have to push for anything Fury made it clear he’s never fighting Usyk he’s going to wait till he loses and that could happen against Hrgovic who Fury won’t go near either not in a million years and he’ll blame it on money . Lol
