The ref telling Usyk to take more time and Usyk saying no, I'm ready to continue was him quitting?

There was about 3 seconds between Dubois landing the punch and the ref indicating that he thought it was low -- and Usyk wasn't on the ground for the first second of that. So there was about a two-second window in which Usyk could have quit. Obviously from then on, he was operating within the guidelines allowed for a low blow.

What I saw in those two seconds was someone going down from a punch. Ridiculous to conclude that he quit from that.

Of course, predictable and tiresome as it is, Fury's sub-WWE spiel was never going to be well thought out or reasonable.

so if it's the easiest fight in the world, why wouldn't you take the fight? There is only one man Fury can fight to become undisputed.

Honestly, fury is the last one who should be talking about controversial decisions regarding refs. More than a few people on this site still believe that Wilder should have been awarded the ko in the 12th round of their first fight, and that the ref gave fury a long count. But as long as the decision goes in your favor,it's all good, right?

It's tough to say somebody's quit but Usyk quit with a body shot and rattled around the floor like a little [coward] for five minutes and the other one quit with a jab. But the truth is the truth and that's it.

I thought Usyk was a warrior, I thought he was a true little fighting man. But he's clearly not, he's just a little wussy. I've been hit full-on, right below the belt with the hardest punches you've ever seen, I didn't roll around like that. It is what it is, you're a fighting man or you're not and if you quit once, you will always quit again. My father told me that when I was a child. If you spew it once you'll always spew it and that's the facts of the matter. End of.

This is pretty funny considering that Fury was knocked down and almost out by a cruiserweight and also knocked down by Wilder and usick has never officially been knocked down by a head punch.

Everyone's a gangster, until it's time to be a gangster. Or in a Traveler's case: when they say they'll fight you, they really mean they want to ambush you and knife you in an alley. Stick to guitar playing, you weirdos.

The Usyk-Dubois fight taught us two things:

                      1) Usyk struggles to the body. This was a common critique of the Soviet School of Boxing by black Americans. I'm assuming because the Soviets focused on the amateurs which was about hitting the head while Americans did both and learned even more about boxing after turning pro.

                      2) Dubois is a coward. He quit against Joyce and was able to use a fractured orbital bone as an excuse. Usyk is smaller and weaker than Joyce and he still tapped out. Your prototypical British coward. Even Frank Warren is tougher than Dubois.
