But when both fighters want the fight and promoters are throwing roadblocks in it, that's entirely different story. Zepeda or his team obviously didn't want the fight. Pitbull Cruz and his dad didn't want the fight. What can you do in these cases? This is apples and bananas.

Zepeda and Cruz ducked Stevenson, if that is what you want to hear. There's nothing complicated about it. I won't even dig deep into the promotional angle of it. They avoided Stevenson. End of story.

Martin and Stevenson both want the fight. What is Haymon got to do with these guys being presented with lifetime opportunities? Inoue was presented to Fulton. What is Haymon got to do with the fight happening? In both cases both fighters decided for themselves. Haymon is not their employer.

Because they already beat everyone at Top Rank, same as Canelo left GOLDEN BOY and MATCHROOM. PBC never leave because they only fight once a year, when is Gary Russell Jr fighting again, Leo Santa Cruz. They just stay in the shelf, which is much bettet than fiding another promoter who actually gives them fights.

Haven't seen Leo Santa Cruz in more than 1 1/2 years now. Has he retired? Leigh Wood has accomplished 2 fights already with Lara since he came back from a long layoff. He's set to fight Warrington next.

I think these dormant fighters at PBC will be back eventually when they're in the 40s. Whatever they have in the bank won't last. They'll take any fight offer they can get everywhere for peanuts eventually.

I do not like this fight for either fighter, neither have truly hit elite household name level yet both are very special boxers and I would rather see this for titles a couple fights down the line. At least I guess Devine Haney can hold onto his titles for now and doesn't have to run to 140 to avoid Shakur
