Fair play, that was quite funny. Being serious, there is no reason to go there, & if you think of the tragic consequences of Griffiths v Paret there are lots of reasons not to go there. I agree with you about all the PC nonsense nowadays including the pretentious "woke" agendists and the me too movement which has clearly charged and convicted people who have no legitimate evidence against them. It's not all left wing. Is it not the the right-wing faction of the US who are the champions of cancel culture and want to ban books because they are adverse to the opinions expressed and characterizations involved? Some people want to change history because they think it's offensive to their race or beliefs. It's history. It cannot be changed, it is there to learn from.
I would say if you can't handle the contents of a book, life is going to be hard for you. **********s are complaining about things that are clearly protected by American civil liberties but they want to censor and even ban books they don't agree with. That's equally as bad. Left and right wing extremists are both wrong. I see things based on facts and common sense not on what views are aligned with what party. That's the problem nowadays, people align with party over policy. It's naive, gullible conformist behavior.
I am a Canadian who doesn't like the two major political parties of Canada, the ******** and the Progressive *************. They are both filled with lying corporate scumbags who are there to help whoever gives them the most money, end of story. The NDP party is the only one talking about what needs to be done to help the majority of the country, not just the upper class but because their leader is of Indian descent, and the right (PC) and left wing (*******) parties have hardcore supporters who will align with them until the bitter end, there isn't much hope for average people.
