Because nobody cares about this fight and they need to increase ticket sales. That's why. Outside of the boxing/UFC circle, nobody is talking about this fight

      .

McGregor was outboxing him. Floyd didn't do anything until McGregor ran out of gas.

One minute, McGregor was competitive, next minute the excuse is Floyd was carrying him.

I cannot believe boxing fans actually think that the best boxer of the era vs a guy who had never boxed was competitive.

It took Floyd about a round and a half to work out Conor's size and reach. Then he just bided his time until MCgregor was punch and turned it on.

Floyd literally played around and carried McGregor until the length of a UFC championship fight (25 minutes) had passed, then turned it on and got the stoppage, knowing Mcgregor would be gassed at that point, which he was.

Carried or not it was not really a good showing for Floyd or the sport. No 0-0 guy should be walking into a fight with someone at Floyds level, lasting as long as Conor did, never touching the canvas and arguably winning a few rounds. If Floyd had gone to the UFC someone would have just taken him down and stopped him in the first round.

Fury punches his considerable weight but he's still not a massive ****er but for battle hardened behemoth like Nganmou I am imagining he could take a fair amount of tap. I'd be surprised if Fury could iron him out. Late corner stoppage or even just an absolute cruise to points.

Either way even as a Fury fan I hope it is an absolute rotter of a fight. It's just a waste of a contest as far as the fans go.

Unless Ngannou lands a punch from the Gods there is nothing in this contest that is going to remotely quicken the pulse.

                It wasn't a good showing?

MCGregor was the first fighter Floyd had actually KO'd/TKO'd since Ricky Hatton (coming up from 140) a whole entire decade prior.

Floyd didn't drop or knock people out, he outboxed them. But he stopped McGreor.

Mayweather wanted to make up for the horrible fight vs Pacquiao, so he gave the fans what appeared to be a "competitive" fight vs McCgregor. It was in fact, a sham to give Floyd an easy record-breaking fight. If Conor actually did so well against Floyd, why was that his one and only pro boxing match?

I think it goes perhaps 10, Fury will carry him until he has totally gassed then end the torture

Fury can bust up Ngannou at will, the only thing that would stop that is if they had a little agreement before the fight that its just a dance around and not really going at it.
Floyd doesn't have KO power. Literally was teeing off on a very exhausted Conor and still couldn't drop him. Conor was basically too exhausted to continue but he was never badly hurt. So this Floyd carried him talk is laughable.

Fury is not a big puncher at HW but because hes so damn big he automatically has heavy punches and should be able to hurt and KO Ngannou way sooner
