Why was Andre Ward no disqualified by the low blows against Kovalev??

I thought the same thing. Dubois landed several punches low and body shots and nothing. The idiots at Top Stank whined about Usyk complaining about "body shots". LOL. They are so arrogant to think that we don't know what we are seeing.

The narrative around it is ridiculous. Shot was low, ref called it low immediately after impact.
Body shots have a delayed reaction, in this case Usyk went down instantly.

Ward has been getting away with cheating his whole career, and it's a huge asterisk on his career. His fight against Bika was an antrocity full of cheating (from Bika too to be fair), he held onto Froch for his dear life, head butted and rabbit punched Kessler to open a huge cut over his eye, and definitely hit Kovalev directly in the nuts 3 times.

Ward wasn't Dqd because Kovalev quit. He kept turning and complaining to the referee about Ward's body punches that were legal. They were all borderline shots to the body which touched the belt line of his trunks. Similarly, to Dubois' punch he landed on Usyk's midsection right on the belt line of his trunks.

It's been 6 years, you can admit the shots were low as ****.

kovalev is weak to the body. Those were not low blows, kovalev was also bending a lot. He scared of that bodywork.

Yeah, these shots were much lower than Dubois'. It was surprising how many people said they were legit at the time, no bellybutton talk. To me, a lot of Ward's punches in that fight were far too low (some were on the line though) whereas Dubois' was on the beltline.

This is the hurtful part about truth. Once the smoke is cleared and Son of Judges won and all the idiots gloat, even years later, we have the footage and see it for what it is. Ward was wining the fight but the low blow fest made Kovalev stop and then the buffet warrior waves the fight off and then in the moment, hey, he won! Yeah!

Years later, though, it's like, he won, but damn. He sure used those low blows to do it. Haha. Ward was such a dirty fighter. But he took advantage of the conditions at the time. What a great guy. And he even invokes God into his name. I'm sure God wants us all to cheat.

Some of Ward's shots were about where Dubois's was, but the ones that strayed low are what that piece of shit Weeks did nothing about.
