Ref for Usyk-Dubois was the most biased ref I seen in a long time

Getting up at 9 seconds isnt quitting.

Look of discouragement on his face or discouraged body language still isnt quitting.

The fight was stopped by ref stoppage not fighter quiting. And the ref barely looked at Dubios and immediately ran over to embrace Usyk, he was grabbing on Usyks hips and looking at him like a long lost lover, that chit is unprofessional.

Also even if he quit there are still 6 other items on my original point in this thread of a very biased ref. I dont doubt that Dubious was frustrated after the ref forbid him from using his most effective tool in the fight, clean legal body punches.

      Yep, totally agree

Even in real time I could see it wasn't a low blow

Usyk's hands were shaking when he was on the floor, that comes from impact and trauma to the body.

        - Even when Usyk said hes ready kept telling Usyk to take more time, dude youre not his ***ing coach you are supposed to be unbiased

        - continued warnings to Dubois for further shots on the belt which are all legal shots, effectively stopping Dubios only winning strategy.

        - the final stoppage Dubios made it up in 10 and could continue. He didnt even look at Dubios very much or let him walk to him talk to him or anything, immediately waved it off

        - after his stoppage call, immediately runs over to Usyk to embrace and congratulate him. Youre supposed to be unbiased. If anything go look at Dubios and make sure hes ok, after all according to you he wasnt medically fit to continue the fight, where was the concern post fight?

This is all coming from a Usyk fan who had no reason to think Dubios would have any chance and wants the unification fight to happen, I have no reason to be biased here but this fight and ref stank. I hate to see boxing like this.

He wasn't knocked out and could have stood for all we know.

Ref called it low. Usyk milked it then went on to dominate Dubois to force the quit.

          End of story.

Dubois shouldn't get a rematch. He didn't even earn this title shot.

Fisheyed Frank needs to STFU about Dubois and make Greedy belly prove his worth against Usyk now!

Then watch more boxing? Just a week ago in the Pauldo-Estela you could swear the ref was Eduardoâs significant other.

Any time a clinch was remotely close to happening, which it wasn't because Dubious is a poor clincher and doesn't look for it. The referee jumped in like a madman

You think the Saudi ref is going to save Usyk from one of the biggest aspects of HW boxing? the clinch? Nope. Fury eating this midget up.

He probably received a decent sized white envelope days prior so did you expect him to be fair? Haha

The first job of a referee is to protect the boxers. How many times have we seen a guy go down from a low blow, jump around for 30 seconds or so, then continue on to getting beat up or knocked out the rest of the round if he didn't take the LEGAL 5 minutes that he was entitled to. Usyk after 2 1/2 minutes said I'm ok but the ref quite legally told him to take the rest of his time. This was very good refereeing IMO.

Telling Usyk "take more time" was bloody ridiculous though. I thought he did that because they were drying the ring or something, but nope. Slippery as ****.

did you miss the Rollie title win?
Um, watch the fight. Dubois was low in round two drawing a no no from Usyk and again in round three with a warning. In round five threw an uppercut was blow the bell line.

Dubois gave more junk and wan beaten to the punch and knocked down in round 8 and out in nine where he took the count. IMO, if he really want yo he could have beaten it.

Maybe Dubois won 2 rounds out of nine.
