And I agree. But in no way did Usyk look good whatsoever against a legit gatekeeper with a questionable chin. Dubois also coming off being knocked down 3 times in his last fight, and the longest layoff of his career just make it worse. You can’t legitimately watch this fight and go “Usyk dominates Fury.” The way Usyk looked against some of Dubois’s punches make you question if he’d even last against wilder.Originally posted by JimRaynor
Aside from the questionable low blow or not Usyk more or less dominated the fight.Comment

Ah usyk could have gotten up is a good argument, however he didn't want to he'd rather pretend to have been hit in the nuts rather than weather the storm that he would have had to endure if he did play fair
This is exactly what I saw...half on the belt, half below. As I've said, he was not being counted out; who knows if he could have gotten up at 8 or 9 and continued?
I'd bet he could have done so.
Give Dubois a rematch after Hrgovic to make it all clean. In any event. Dubois won barely 2 minutes in the entire fight then quit.Comment

I posted this twice actually...I agree. The ref waived it off immediately, so of course he stayed down. If he thought the fight was in jeopardy, I don't think he'd have sat there.Comment

Actually I have counted at least 3 posters who said as much... Probably more. I mean it is an important component of the sport: If grandma has sugar, Lemons and nice cold water, you don't contemplate going thirsty! If the ref says "take a few, take a few..." You take a few.Comment

Usyk fights to the level of his opponent. I thought he looked great. I have zero complaints about his performance.
