What it takes to beat Usyk

You must have: the chin, the heart, a great stamina.

Dubois lacks everything. he is just big and strong.

The guy that would have a great chance: Wilder.

Wilder is a bum with a good chin and a great heart. And he must just land one big bomb on Usyk`s chin.

Yeah, although some may say Wilder hasn't got stamina but I'd disagree. Usyk wouldn't be able to wrap him up like Fury did and drain his energy.

As for Wilders chin, we don't really know his punch resistance is after those beatings and his age.

But that first point would be useful if you're a tall man, but Wilder and AJ doesn't have the ability to wrap fighters up and lean on them, it's a skill and they never added it to their arsenal, but it's a tried and tested way to take all the energy out of a smaller fighters legs.

Another way would be body shots, Usyk has been vulnerable to the body since the amateurs but landing enough is the problem. Your best bet is try and trap him on the ropes but he's never easy to get onto the ropes because he rarely moves back more than a few steps in a straight line. But he has a fairly readable patten when he goes out of range, its always one step back and then he turns to the right. If you could throw a long lead hook or something, you could actually catch him on the way out, or as soon as he takes a step back, you could take a side step and be right in line with him again, so you never let him reset. he's very predictable with it, but likes of AJ didn't have the IQ to pick up that pattern.

Bellew also had a clever way of bringing him onto shots but he got too predictable with it and Usyk adjusted.

I know these things are easier said than done but pretty much all fighters have patterns and little comfort zones in the ring when they want to reset, which can be exploited if youre smart enough to spot them and assertive enough to exploit it.

everyone is beatable really. I thought Usyk v Briedis was a draw when I watched it live. It's not like he's out there dominating every round of fights.

You have to rough him up a bit, physical contact with body and forearms. Don't box when pushing and shoving is an alternative. See Usyk/Chisora rounds 1-5, also Floyd/Maidana 1.

I mean, unless you have quick feet, a big reach advantage, a great jab, a powerful backhand and plenty of stamina, in which case, just do what you do.

I don't blame Usyk. Dubois is a top 10-15 guy in his PRIME which is something Fury and Wilder cannot to say. Not that I'm sold on Uysk being a top the all time great heavyweight... he has a ways to go before that. Up next for him if he wins is Hrgovic who is better than Fury or Wilder is now. We shall see if Uysk takes this fight.

But what will it take to beat him? 1 ) an opponent who has stones and 2 ) a very good heavyweight.

I think you could swap stamina with timing and be alright. I don't mean stamina was a bad choice, just that I can see a guy without Usyk level stamina making a good fight over 12 rounds if he has timing.

Either a KO,DQ, win more rounds or have the judges on your side.

Take your pick and thanks for letting me help!

i love the "if wilder just lands one punch he wins" narrative. hes never one punch ko'd anyone good in their prime. hes only ko'd one top 10 fighter his entire career.

Usyk is not young anymore. maybe his prime is gone.
