Bivol has always wanted to fight Beterbiev.

If there is ANYBODY that can't complain about Hearn, it's Bivol.


Hearn got him the Canelo lottery AND somehow got the judges to not rob Bivol. Those are 2 massive tasks. Bivol was a NOBODY decision machine.


Bivol OWES Hearn.

Do you really think that Hearn had a lot to do with that? Look at Bivol's career pre-Canelo signing with Matchroom. He signed with Matchroom in January 2019. They gave him Joe Smith Jr (pre title), Lenin Castillo, Craig Richards, and Umar Salamov. That sound like a bunch of great fights?

He got the Canelo fight because Canelo thought he'd be an easy touch. Hearn was already talking about who Canelo would fight after beating Bivol. Hearn had nothing to do with it. He just does what Canelo tells him to do.

Then Bivol gets the biggest win of his career, and what happens? He didn't get the Zurdo fight because of Matchroom either. They tried to get an exemption to get him to face Buatsi instead. Hearn has been trying to use his newfound prominence to promote his British contenders.

If you think Bivol has gotten a fair deal from Eddie Hearn, I've got some swamp land to sell you...

Bivols own manager said a few months ago that they had some talks and fight isn't happening because the money isn't there for it. Its not just cause of Arum. WBC also won't recognise Bivol as champ so that is another issue.

He owes Hearn one more fight and my best guess is that Hearn is delaying as long as possible as Bivol is not going to re-sign.

If that is the case, that sucks for Bivol. Something to keep in mind next time he signs a contract
