Like I said, there is a lineage of title holders in every division which goes all the way back to the first recognised champion in that division.

Every current world title holder is a part of the lineage of champions in their division, including Usyk and Fury. So neither of those two guys has any more right than the other to call himself "the lineal champion"

If you take away all of these other bull**** trinkets that exists in boxing, then Usyk and everyone who holds one of those bull**** titles wouldn’t be called champions. Belts went from 1-4 because there was money to be made by mofos who DON’T box. If we had 1 title……and this is wishful thinking, contenders would have no choice but to fight each other to move up. Usyk would be the #1 contender to Fury just as Bivol would be to Beterbiev…
