We still have enough time for the arena to be full/sold out, I dont take anything Bob Arum says seriously to be honest and when he proclaim the fight to have been sold out back in August i knew he was just bluffing.
I expect the PR fans to buy most of the available tickets but we just have to wait and see.Comment

there's still 40+ days till the fight, give it time. look at how slow mayweather-marquez was at first and the numbers it got.
not only that but this fight is bigger in terms of fan base and importance. pinoys and puerto ricans are really supportive fans of their own. stop trying to make a dramatic scene out of nothing. it will do more than good, just enough to position itself in the biggest ppv events list.Comment

PPV #s are what really matters!
They will curtain off the unsold sections to create the illusion of a sold out arena. The smoke and mirrors of the sports entertainment industry.Comment

You know, it's interesting. In August, when Arum stated that the tickets were flying out the door and the fight was essentially sold out - without any verifiable data - that statement was absorbed and not questioned. Celebrated, even.
Now, in the face of actual data and information that sales velocity is slow, the information is met by emotional outbursts and wounded egos.
We are mostly men on this board. Let's try to deal with issues the way men should. Analytically, and with equanimity.
We won't have a clear sense of the magnitude until after the fight.Comment
