In MY eyes, "sold out" is not an indicator of success. I think Arum made a mistake by making those uber-bullish statements early on. Probably set an unrealistic expectation.

For example, The Oscar-Pac fight did not "sell out". And nobody would view that fight as anything but successful.

Not to hijack this thread, but since I bought my tickets from an online ticket broker does anyone know how that works exactly in receiving them? I have never bought tickets from an online broker any info would be helpful.

              Peace.

Well for starters its not the gate, its the PPV numbers which will matter most.

Second, the fight is 6 weeks away. Im sure by fight night the place wil be sold out or very near.

Third, These tickets are not cheap.

Fourth, PBF just fought 2 weeks ago, with cheaper tickets. Maybe some of the people who wouldve bought tickets for PAC vs Cotto, instead chose the cheaper route and went to the PBF instead.

                Just my thoughts.

They should have give you a "tickets will be shipped by" date.

Typically, they will mail it to the address that the credit card has.

Did you get such a date?

Side note: What section...and how much did you pay?

                    conclusion

biggest fight of the year, will sell out soon. Only thinking of other athletes who will go , and celebrities. Those seats will get sold trust me

Good points all around. Although I'm not sure how much overlap there is in May/marq fans and Pac/migs fans. They would seem to be different demographics. Ex the hardcores.

....and Numero Uno tickets had a mean ticket price of $567.

What is concerning is that the hotels are packing. Yet. If the fight is five weeks away, wouldn't you have typically made reservations and locked your room down? Esp for the folks who would fly in?

Or am I just an ****-retentive planner?
