I ain't making no excuses for Thurman current predicament because he's refusal to take opportunities and remain active speak for themselves. However, I will not critic him for Mayweather ducking for an easier fight in Andre Berto. Instead of doing mental gymnastics to invent reasons to hate on Thurman just use the facts because clearly you ain't too smart.
Berto was a forme WBC and IBF champion between 2008 and 2011 dumbo.

He was a much bigger name and more accomplished than Thurman at the time, who had never helt a title in his life and was a mere prospect/contender

Which goes back to the fight that he ducked with Spence, for one of Floyd's titles, so that the winner can get Floyd.

There is no running away kid.

    Face the truth.

      There's no truth here.

Berto was majorly fading by the time Floyd fought him. Berto had just won the INTERIM WBA title. Keith was holding the WBA regular belt.

He didn't duck a fight with Spence, he unified the division and fought Shawn Porter.

And let's drop the "winner gets Floyd" bull****, that's not how the fight game works lol

I love it because both he and his fanboys (you) are reaping the rewards of your cowardly, self deluded asses now.

Tell me, who Keith Thurman fighting next ? Has he got a fight lined up?

        I wonder why, lol.
Keith didn't duck anybody. He got injured. And as far as I'm concerned he's done with the sport today. The injuries took him out. He's looking for paydays before he gets exposed.

The truth is simple, Mayweather ducked Thurman for an easier fight. It doesn't matter when Berto was a champion because he had been badly beaten by Guerrero and Soto. Thurman made lightwork of both those names and was clearly on the rise, so don't lie like Berto was a marquee name because he wasn't. Clearly evident by the poor numbers against Mayweather.

Thurman wasn't a prospect but the number one contender for Mayweather's title, that's the truth. Stop with the mental gymnastics, a duck is a duck. Thurman had every right to a Mayweather opportunity so cut the made up scenarios.

No, there's def hate going on...maybe not from you. But, hey, I've grown weary of all talk and no action, too. I felt his inactivity for injuries was warranted but at this point is ridiculous. Fight or retire, Keith.

This is who Keith Thurman always was. It's why Spence hates him so much.

We knew this since 2015 when both Spence and Thurman called Mayweather out, and Mayweather said he will vacate one of his belts and let em fight for it, and the winner gets a gauranteed shot at Floyd.

Spence said hell yeah, because he was down with earning the shot at both legacy and the Mayweather sweepstakes.

Keith Thurman said hell no, because it's who he is. He wants the big fights but doesn't want to EARN them.

Understand this, Mayweather, since he came back in 2009, had a formula.

                  The formula was simple.

He fought the guy who was either on the p4p list or was a world champion, AND was coming from a contender for fight of the year performance.

                  Think back.

                  1. Marquez was p4p#2 ! and his wars with Manny were legendary.

                  2. Shane Mosley was p4p#3, was WBO champ, and was coming from a fight of the year perfromance where he gave Margarito his first L and his only KO loss.

                  3. Victor Ortiz, wbc champ, fight of the year performance against Berto.

                  4. Miguel Cotto, p4p, WBO Champ at 154lbs.

                  5. Robert Guerrero, undefeated, mutli division champ, sensational, dominant vitory against Berto in a fight of the year contender.

                  6. Canelo, sensational victory in fight of the year contender against Austin Trout, unfied champion at 154, undefeated, p4p list.

                  7. Maidana x 2. WBA champion, sensational victory over then undefeated mutli division chsmpion Adrien Broner.

                  8. Manny Pacquiao, wbo champion, p4p#2, fight of the century.

                  You see the patern?

                  It's clear right?

This is what Floyd tried to do for Keith and Spence.

If the fought for one of his titles, two undefeated contenders, both blue chip talents hailed as the potential successors to Floyd, the result would have been a fight of the year kind of war, and the winner would also become an undefeated world champion. Might even enter the p4p list.

This fight was meant for the winner to satisfy completely Floyd's money making criteria so that he can fight the winner and win big.

Spence understood this, and was happy to accept. After all, he's a real one, he's all about legacy and money.

But Keith Thurman, well, need I say more at this point ‍♂️?
I never heard anything about a fight-off between Thurman and Spence. By 2015 Floyd was heading for the door looking for a bag of $ with little risk. He knew he always had PacMan's #. Berto didn't deserve to be his last real boxing match. And I don't need to say anything about McGregor. The timing of Floyd's career just didn't line up with the new wave, similar to Crawford except Bud seems to want to take on some real challenges for his last fights.

At this point, I'd say Boots would get more credit for beating Stanionis than Keith. Maybe if Keith beat somebody credible in fine fashion in the next couple of months that would change.

Sounds like you're fanboying for Floyd. You made some good points about Mayweather's resume, but please stop defending his choice of fighting Berto. You're losing credibility for calling out other fanboys.
