Figueroa has more chances of going the distance with Inoue. Fight would be far more entertaining, put more asses on seats.

Cool boy steph needs to get back on the line, his perfomance was disappointing and things would end much worse if he immediately takes on the monster again, fight Brandon instead!

Did Canelo go chase greatness and go fight John Ryder in Liverpool or did he make him come to Meh-hee-koe? You should have made him come to the Atlantic city boardwalk for that fight. I'm very disappointed in Fulton man!
He chased greatness…and a big fat purse that he would get nowhere else.

Inoue was the A-side and the cash cow in this equation.

I totally agree with you! He allowed Inoue to become the A side which is dumb. By chasing greatness ( the bag) he fuqed himself out of bigger more lucrative fights like undisputed. Rookie move bro

He went for Inoue because Figueroa was screaming he got robbed. He was pestering him with a rematch.

He should take a non hard fight at 126 to regain confidence and adapt to the new weight, then rematch Figueroa.

If he has a belt when Inoue moves up, that rematcht will happen and be a bit more interesting than right now.

"Stephen Fulton has always come out on top."

                Well, not always...

Beaten by a better fighter, no shame in that. I thought Fulton did all right, but was just simply outgunned. Not sure moving up is the right move if a rematch is what he is looking for, given Inoue has only just moved into this division.

Id rather see Inoue fight the Heartbreak Kid, the other guy that really defeated Fulton.

What makes you think an undisputed fight with Tapales would have been more lucrative than the fight with Inoue in Japan? There's no more lucrative fight in those divisions. He's the Canelo of the lower weights.

That's not the whole true. He want to pay the same amount of money and bivol told him to do it at 168 or more money at 175. Which canelo didn't agreed. He didn't want to pay more mobey for another a$$ whopping.
