Both guys are flawed and vulnerable. The first guy to land something big wins.

If Helenius can hit AJ and make him bleed (his mouth, nose), then so can Wilder.

Only difference is, Wilder hits extremely hard and currently has the highest knockout ratio in modern boxing today.

Basically what Aj needs to do is stay the fk away from Wilder right hand as much as possible, easier said than done ofc. Deontay isn't exactly a great technical boxer but he knows how to put and execute setups ,Aj better watchout.

I would be surprised is Wilder did not KO AJ in 1.

Wilder is being heavily overrated, wow. Been KO'ed multiple times, a half round of activity in a couple years. He's changed peoples minds with his spirit and tenacity, I get that, but all of that comes opposite of his skill level which damn near everybody here has acknowledged hasn''t been good.

Indeed. Old man Ortiz is by far his best win. Never beaten anybody as good as the guys AJ has lost to. He's given far too much credit for KOing a long line of fringe contenders and being competitive in defeat to Fury. He's not exactly a young man either.

That said, I doubt this version of AJ can beat him. He's not enough of a superior boxer to nullify the right hand and clearly not aggressive enough anymore to do enough damage before Wilder lands something big.

It's an overcooked fight that should have happened 5 odd years ago.

Maybe, but I've seen Wilder get dropped and get up fighting until he got stopped. AJ? Not so much. I've seen him get dropped, get up and get dropped again and again, as he retreated. I'm afraid if Wilder catches him, he wont get back up in time and if he does, he's finished.
