I can't help but think that Wilder will catch him. Wilder has caught everybody he fought including Fury. The difference was that Fury got up and chinned Wilder. If I were Joshua I would get sparring partners with good right hands and spend the next few months learning how to defend them and counter them. Joshua will get hit, then windmill will try to go after him. Joshua should have a plan to get up off of the canvas too.

Joshua is a more fundamentally correct, and better text book fighter than Fury.

I want people to tell me what was the highest achievement Fury achieved as a amateur? Fury's best achievement as a Amateur fighter was being beaten by David Price 'That is not a mockery, fighters even during a loss can gain credit'.

Anthony Joshua won the Olympic Gold medal 'So as you can see Joshua when people are really honest and objective, is fundamentally a better text book fighter than Fury' And that is why I think this game plan that Joshua seems to be developing is most likely the most efficient way for Joshua to fight Wilder specifically.

I believe this focus that Joshua has is correct, he should develop his own game plan and not look at how Fury fought Wilder.

Fury had to fight Wilder the way he did, because Fury is a innately clumsy fighter 'People are acting as if Fury was not being ****** about or knocked down before Wilder. When anyone who has watched Fury's entire career knows? Even though he has not fought at a consistent high level, he was still being decked and ****** about way more than Joshua'.

Anthony Joshua can definitively win rounds vs Wilder, Joshua definitively has the ability to nullify Wilder skill for skill.

But Joshua may also need to understand that, statistically like everyone on this thread has stated 'Wilder at some point gets to his opponent'.

It is during this situation where the fight will be won or lost for Joshua 'How he reacts to the violence, and then whether he has the ability to stick to his game plan'.

Note: Wilder has the ability to make fighters deviate from their game plans, once this happens 'That is when he starts to become effective. Fury especially in his last two fights vs Wilder was determined not to deviate from his tactics, even when Wilder was landing his power on him' etc.

This is essentially why I think Wilder wins. He actually acknowledges his flaws so will throw caution to the wind and will just go for the KO. The worst thing AJ can do is take a cautious approach. This fight is a straight shootout.

I don't know what Derrick James is doing but he needs to tell AJ to stop being afraid. AJ obviously still has the power to blast people out and if Fury can damage Wilder with his average power then AJ can destroy him.

Obviously I'm a nobody but I think AJ can really mess Wilder up with some strong body shots at the start of the fight and then bring him down once he gasses out.

Wilder has been inactive, has gotten older, and refuses to improve. Wilder will look for the right hand and all AJ has to do is break him down and hurt him.

Wilder will not be AJ's toughest fight in my opinion. Also Derrick is a garbage coach.

I'll be happy but amazed if Joshua is still standing by the half way mark .People say Wilder has little boxing ability but he is second to none positioning himself in order to land those bombs....it will be brutal! ...And fans were , in my opinion unfairly booing Joshua who seems more intent than ever to protect that jaw .The tighter defence is not as appealing to fans who are used to Joshua being more gun ho but as Ruiz proved once he's hurt and on the back foot the odds are , like Mike Tyson to be fair (who never gt up to win!) he falls apart.Good luck kid , you need lots of it.

I think Wilder is quicker, even at his age. He's going to scramble Joshua's brain. James better be teaching him how to duck. I'm no Wilder booster, but I think Joshua will be a sitting duck

Nah, it has to be a well-thought and well-fought boxing match, with the big bombs thrown at the right time and at the right target. If either one of these guys lands a big shot, the other will be in serious trouble. And Joshua seems to handle getting hurt worse than Wilder does.
