Manny got schooled by Morales, dominated him in the rematch.
Joshua got smoked by Ruiz, ran to a unanimous (got the W) in the rematch.
Humberto Soto SOUNDLY outboxed and punished Francisco Lorenzo, then got robbed by Joe Cortez. Punished Lorenzo in the rematch.
Cotto was forced to take a knee after sustained punishment against Margacheato. Dominated him in the rematch.
Lennox Lewis was knocked out by Rahman (when you get knocked out at the top level, that's a mismatch). Dominated and knocked him out in the rematch.
Larry Holmes was so embarrassed and frustrated by Michael Spinks in the first fight he started throwing him. Arguably won the rematch and showed significant improvement in the game.
Rematches are NOT BAD. They should be welcomed for fighters that want the smoke.
This modern era thinking is the reason fighters are often hesitant to get in when they're undefeated - because they know that people like you - marks - will turn on them and toss them like trash the moment they lose instead of giving them a fair chance to redeem.
Not trying to be a clown, just wondering.Comment

Why in the hell would you want to do that again? The only one that was was doing was Crawford, while Spence was being done.
Apparently Spence doesn't believe in damage control, or self preservation, unfortunately this will have catastrophic results for Errol 'We Gotta Do That Again' Spence.Comment

That image is even more accurate now, because Crawford's anger as depicted came out during fight night.
Omaha basically did the same thing to him - sell him some former slaveowner land for a $1 ("IF the City Council approves"), yet Jeff Horn got the Key To The City of Brisbane and Deontay Wilder got a statue erected in his honor in Alabama. Hell, fictional Rocky Balboa got a statue left up.Comment

I said that Spence should fight Keef at 154 as a getback and Crawford should fight his mandatory (Boots) at 147, THEN do Spence/Crawford rematch at 154. NSB disagreedComment
