By the way if Cotto wins and PBF is available, I really doubt that Margarito will be considered if he gets his liscence back. Margarito will always be a plan B for Cotto when he lose again. A very good source told me that when the new contract was signed between Arum and Cotto, one of the conditions was that Cotto would have more participation in the decisions on which fighter would be selected for his fights. In the past it was Top Ranks who decided.
I think when the smoke clears it's going to be the long over due
fight with Cotto and Floyd. That's going to be the biggest money
fight ESPECIALLY once Cotto beats Manny. Floyd will not want
to turn that fight down AND Cotto is a WW so it makes sense.
Mosley will get the winner of Cotto/Floyd. The only way Cotto/Floyd
don't happen is if Arum and Floyd don't agree on terms and same goes
a possible Manny fight BUT these promoters are so greedy that
they wouldn't hit themselves in the pocket to not make this fight
    happen.

He should have retired not because of a lack of skills but because he should have had the money to do it. Like I said both Mosley and Hopkins are still good fighters. I doubt they thought they would fight into their 40's.
Hopkins isn't fighting primarily for money, he just loves the challenge. He wouldn't fight for free, but he certainly doesn't need the money. When he was considering retirement, he found that he missed the challenge too much; and he loves training, and he loves proving everyone wrong. And I doubt Shane would retire yet even if he was financially secure, either, given that he seems to have returned to his best form since his first win over De La Hoya. He loves the sport as well.

And Shane hasn't been in any real wars. Even in his losses, he was never really hurt.

Different fighters age differently, and those two happen to age far better than most.

        • Roach should be happy this time when Pac has already knocked him down three times.
