Pacquiao Training Camp Issues, Roach Not Happy

Trainer Freddie Roach never wanted Manny Pacquiao to train in Baguio City. He wanted his fighter to train at the Wild Card Gym in Los Angeles, California. He eventually gave in. Roach openly admits to the Philippine Daily Inquirer that he already sees trouble with the way the camp is run - and he is not happy about it. Pacquiao is preparing for the toughest fight of his career when he challenges Miguel Cotto for the WBO welterweight title on November 14. [details]

I mean, what distractions? He doesn't have to allow anyone he doesn't want, in the GYM.

It's all the crap that goes on before and after they're in the gym that roach is concerned about.

          Roach hates basketball, apparently.

I disagree..U have to allow your fighter to relax a little bit even during heavy dedicated training. All tense and no relax just makes for a big mess of tense. And you have to be balanced between tension and relaxation, for true speed, and accuracy, and everything..

I think Roach knows this, and he's just trying to hype the fight

i am not worried.....manny has become a brat but he knows what he's doing and where he is as far as his training for the fyt is concerned.
and there should be no excuses if he lose.....

i think the writer (inquirer) got it all wrong i read an article (manila bulletin) PAC out running all the cadets and roach was okey with that ...

it was ariza the conditioning coach who had comments on the extra miles run by pac with the cadets which was out of the prepared program...

i am not sure about the basketball thing ...
