Why would they have 2 PPVs clash same day doesn't make sense. And even if it wasn't ppv, Fury Ngannou is going to get the most attention that week and on fight day and after the fight (regardless it being a circus fight)

If you think them having it same day won't affect business in anyway then good thing your not a promoter or boxing manager

His own promoter knew fury vs Ngannou was on October 28th for 3 weeks now. So why would they choose the same date in the 1st place? That makes zero sense.

It's a bullsh#t excuse and anybody with a brain know this. This is why regis went off. The fury fight was October 28th before Haney vs Regis was even a thing.

The same 75k people are gonna buy Haney vs Regis no matter what date it falls on. A 3pm fight on the other side of the world isn't gonna affect that

Haney survives and don’t get hurt, he’ll beat Prograis, Haney hasn’t lost to a gray boy so I know he’ll out box him provided he doesn’t get hurt, but the way he holds when hit hard, he’ll be alright.

Man there are some brutal "boxing fans" on this site...

Haney, who just put together a nice string of victories, moves up a division and immediately calls a champion who himself has proven willing to fight. Yet the vast majority of people are just mad Haney decided not to drain himself down anymore and move up to a better weight? Yes, I think Haney against the best 135 has to offer is better in a vacuum, but this is a legit clash of styles that has a "great fight" potential all over it. I am ALL in!!

Unless it is PPV. I am not in on it as a PPV at any cost. But otherwise, I am IN!!!

You have a very dumb perspective. No context at all. Like looking at things from a casual/bias boxing fan

What in the name of Usyk's toothgap are you talking about?? I bring up both fighters recent activity, Haney stepping straight up to challenge a champ, their conflicting styles providing a really intriguing match up and you decide to disagree with calling me a casual? Why? Because I like the fight and you do not?

How about instead of calling me names and trying to push me off the playground monkey bars you explain why you do NOT like this match up? Why are so many people's first instinct to try and belittle someone these days? My whole point is that I look at this fight and see two established, accomplished, active, and healthy boxers and see a fight that may not be PPV worthy but has a ton of upside. Your point is you can grab a catch phrase that has been used to freaking death and type it correctly.

Big mean bully calling me big mean names....

Haney just recently said he's not signing, he wants more changes.

I had a lot of posters on here trying to tell me that Fury vs. Ngannou will be a flop, because of the time of day, etc.! Hardcore fans wish that were so, but I bet that PPV outperforms Haney vs. Prograis, regardless of what date they choose!
