They've had titles since 2017. 100% they can put their foot down and demand that the people they pay make the fights they want.

Titles don’t mean anything to a promoter. It would mean something when negotiating with other fighters. You have zero leverage with a promoter. Fighters come and go. It’s all about money, how much money you can generate as a boxer. That is what leverage you can use over a promoter.

Bivol and Beterbiev held titles in the same division longer than Spence and Crawford.

If Bivol was with Top Rank and Beterbiev was with PBC and picked up all the titles the way he did with Bivol being the last one he needed to fight people would cry.

Fan of Bivol and Beterbiev but it's 2023 and only one has defended their titles once.

Well one would have to blame the sanctioning bodies and the promoters; Namely Mauricio Suilaman and Bob Arum who refuse to pit those two together.
