Bivol can make his last fight with Matchroom then leave. We hold everybody else to a high standard but when two old ass Russians have titles we gotta consider the sides of the streets? **** off with that.
Start demanding this fight as fight fans. Don't give me that **** about politics. Half of you guys were willing to call everybody a duck over anything before.Comment

Lol you're pinning it on Bivol?Beterbievs next fight is Jan. Same month he turns 39 years old.
Bivol is lost. MR have no one to give him. Their plan and Bivols teams plan was holding out on the 2nd Canelo cheque. But they got big for their boots and didn't realise they can't demand anything from Canelo he is A side vs anyone and has options everyone wants him. Should have accepted the first offer they got.
there was no rematch offer. Get it into your brain that Canelo NEVVERRR wanted a rematch. He fought GGG instead, then Ryder and let his rematch clause expire.
Canelo was never ever ever taking a rematch because he knows he can't win, it's a simple as that. You could have offered him any split and he wouldn't take it, that was obvious because he kept fighting everybody else instead of exercising the rematch clause when he had and let it run out.Comment

There was an offer. Bivols team didn't accept the same terms they said themselves.

Bivol tried to make it
He went to DAZN when Beterbiev was there to try and make the fight and then Beterbiev quickly left DAZN soon after. Now he's happy for his promoter Arum to say he's not interested in making the fight.
I like Beterbiev but hes not that interested in a Bivol fight. Just like Kovalev dismissed the idea of fighting Bivol years ago.
The Russians already know what the Mexicans found out. Bivol is very hard to beat...Comment

I don't like clique but sometimes a clique is perfect so forgive me when I say "It is the Matrix." Specifically it is an invisible form of delusion and control... Believe it or not, Karl Marx was the first to talk about it... The control over our means, the power we give a class of individuals...
Mammoth, if tomorrow every boxer got together, agreed to hols their contracts in abeyance, until terms were agreed upon to terminate, and proceeded to make fights, use social media to promote, use the blue print of the Paul Brothers... two average joes, who are barely professional level fighters... and make lots of money... If fans knew their fighter was getting the money! etc.
Fighters, like most individuals GIVE their power away. Forget even Jake Paul LOOK at Floyd's situation! He left his vampire Arum, and took off... Arum couldn't get Floyd a money fight to save his life! People also forget in the MATRIX lol. Floyd was not a big money fighter til when he fought De La Hoya leaving Bob the vulture.Comment

The lowball offer, the oldest ducking trick in the book then?
anybody can make an offer, doesn't mean you actually have to sign. you can always find a way out of a fight if you don't really want to.
Canelo doesn't really want it, that's become evident for a long time but he has to save face and act like he wants a rematch because he got his arse handed to him but he doesn't.
I bet the negotiations didnt last long. This is how it went....
Canelo's team offer the same terms knowing Bivol's team want a better deal as the winner, so Bivol's team try to negotiate a deal and that's enough of an excuse for Canelo to run in another direction and pretended he tried to make the fight.
You're not that naive are you? It's Canelo's loss to avenge. If he really wanted to do that, they could easily come up with a deal that satisfies everyone.Last edited by deathofaclown; 08-09-2023, 10:08 AM.Comment

Blaming the fighters as usual... the only blame one should ascribe to the fighters is making these horrid contracts that control their careers. If both these men got on a few podcasts, maybe did some WWf type promotion, and fans, even casuals learned how good they are, they could make their own fight with a few well paid social media advisors. They would make a fortune.
When Dante, copied Oyama, and went down State street with a Bull he claimed he was going to destroy with one shot, he knew he would be asrrested before he ever got a chance to harm the bull. years back Oyama had just weakened one of the bulls horns by cutting into it and did a shuto to chop it off, same idea... It created a buzz! People got interested fast.Comment

Same money, weight, concessions, etc. as the first fight.
Thats a plain duck. For over a decade Canelo groupies "Take the fight! It's your chance, if you beat him you get the big money in the rematch!" Bivol beats Canelo "No, not like that. Take the small money again."Comment

Where is your thread about F*** the MW division as Charlo holds his belt hostage for over two years now? Where was this thread when Stevenson was avoiding the best at 175?Comment
