Yes he went from 130 to 135 to 147 in the same calendar year. At 130 he was cutting ALOT and he basically went from that to cuttign nearly nothing. His style relied on speed. 147 him vs DLH you saw the difference of a guy cutting nothing vs a super drained skeleton.

Pac, Loma and mayweather all cut very little water and all had great stamina for it.

Jacobs, Yildirim, Kovalev and Bivol are all 6' (Saunders is 5'11").

Plant, Fielding, and Chavez are 6'1".

      Smith is 6'3".

Bivol is a small LHW. He had already previously stated numerous times when he was trying to get the fight that he could easily drop down to 168. He only weighed 183 the night of the fight with Canelo. Danny Jacobs weighed more than that at MIDDLEWEIGHT the night he fought GGG. Do you seriously think any of those other guys stepped into the ring much less than that? For comparison, Zurdo stepped into the ring at 204 vs Boesel.

Sorry if facts hurt your feelings. Canelo lost because of a gap in skill, not in size. Once again, it was never a problem until he lost...

Kovalev said before the fught that canelo was very small for the weight, Roy Jones jr said the same

canelo Lost because his worst división was 175, that was too much for him. Bivol clearly is the bigger man
And i always said before the fight vs Bivol that canelo worst idea was fight at 175.

Bivol said that but never was able to do it.

Bivol in Cruiser Will not be the same

It was never a problem before, but now all of a sudden it's an excuse...
It's not the same at all. Canelo is clearly bigger than Bivol. I'm just going to defer to Floyd Mayweather. He's the expert. He knows more about boxing than you or I will ever.

Canelo is not bigger than Bivol how do you arrive at that, he began as a WW he has to be a small LH, just as Manny and Floyd would always be small WWs as they started at very low weight. guys like Spence and Porter started bigger then went down making them big WWs, Inoue would make a small 135/140, TC will max out at 154 and would be pushing it at 160, where a guy starts will tell you a lot about where they finish, I think Canelos best weight is MW, Bivol could never make MW.

Thanks for completely ignoring all the facts that I previously stated and for again stating your opinion. Good talk.

Yes they would. But same day weigh ins are even more dangerous because some guys still were trying to squeeze down as much as they can, which is why they decided on one day weigh ins in the first place.

There is no real solution to this because fighters will always try to exploit weight conditions.

The only real way is making weight an hour before fighting, they will soon learn fighting dehydrated to be the bigger guy will hurt them more than they think it will. they only fight drained because they push limits that push back , they guessed they could do it and if you fck it up you are cooked, which is easy to do at such high-level competition.

When weighing in is really close to fighting, the best winning plan for a fighter is to be in perfect fighting condition, there is no benefit at all being dehydrated at fight time, so it would stop a lot of weight bullying, which is the result of allowing them time to blow up again, that part of weight manipulation is taken away from the fighters given them by the 30 hr system, they actually went the wrong way with the rules from how it was with the same day, that was still many hours away from fight time opening the window for rehydration, they needed to close the window completely by making weight right before fighting, its the only way it can be done and be the fairest fight possible.

To be honest, you guys really believe Spence can take the power of this Kazakhstan dude from 160?
