Except for the part about being a contender, he was in fact a contender, this is Keith. Maybe it was the numerous injuries but somewhere he lost his will to be somebody. Now his time has passed

Past his time Thurman sounds so desperate to be still relevant, his bus passed him bye long ago- he sounds like a jilted ex who's partner has moved on to bigger and better. Give it up Keith ! expiration date has expired , your old news on the bottom of the bird cage now !!!

If he's not fighting him why would he be worried?

Cmon man, Keith wasn’t just a contender, he was unified champion against some worthy foes. I know it’s trendy to bash Keith but can’t take that away from him.

That's just ******. Ennis is the IBF mandatory which means he desrves the shot. Who did Mean Machine beat to get his shot?

Danny Garcia beat this kunt. Infact, this kunt was never the same following the arm injury he got in that fight, Danny beat him.

This is true. Ali was heavyweight champion in the 1960s. Got beat by Frazier in 1971. What he did is fight every available contender in the 1970s and worked his way back up the rankings eventually earning a fight with the heavyweight champion George Foreman and we all know what happened. Thurman should take a page out of Ali's book by fighting often, working his way back up the rankings to eventually earn a shot to fight Crawford. Thurman should talk less and fight more. No one cares about what he did in the past especially if he hasn't been active over the years.

The writer gets the gas face for referring to Thurman as elite. Thurman was beaten from pillar to post by a fringe contender in a fight that 95% of referees would have stopped if Thurman wasn't a PBC house fighter. Thurman then lost to Pacquiao. Then couldn't stop a 140 pounder that was just stopped by a 135 pounder. Thurman hasn't been elite for years.
