What has the bright lights created ? If anyone else 35 years ago talked like he has since retiring from the ring no one would have paid attention. Learn to live with it and on your dying bed regergatate it if you want. What came first the camera or the ego. Find a moment by yourself, talk to a close friend a doctor who told this guy this was a good idea.? When did he become convinced it was a good idea to embarrass himself and boxing. Everyone says this but think of the flip side, were all his opponents perfect, in their prime with zero issues? i mean pernell was a cokehead too and oscar got a close or some say gift decision, pernell was probably saying the same thing as oscar, imagine if i was more dedicated i could have dominated oscar and trinidad.

Oscar definitely seems to have regrets and didn't like the way he went out. Issues outside the ring, the comebacks.

Hard for these guys when it's all they know. But he was a very good boxer, boxers today dream of a jab and left hook like he had. He should be proud.

Shame he's a bit of a f'd up guy now. Never really had a childhood I guess.
