If Danny beats Lara, I can see Danny being 1st ballot HOF. Personally I think DSG vs Spence was a helluva lot closer than what it was made to be. I seen Spence hurt a couple different times but the announcers were D riding Spence and its hard to talk over or talk sense to PBC pundits. Angel Garcia wasnt vocal after Spence but he got A LOT of crap leading up to this fight. I wouldnt be surprised if PBC checked him prior.

Yeah, it's crazy that Danny Garcia is probably the closest to being HOF out of those guys, but he is really one good win away from it. I'm not sure he can pull it off vs Lara. When is that fight, anyway?

I read a Boxingscene article the other day that the WBA approved the fight but theres no date in sight. HOF is a bit overrated these days, DSG would probably make it in without Lara but I think Lara puts it on lock.

If Spence Jr. is shopworn, slow, and inaccurate, that has nothing to see with this trainer. Besides, this young man had a horrible accident and only he knows what he has to endure to continue in the game.

Spence’s loss could be attributed to several factors individually or as a collective. Bud is a great fighter, styles make fights, and/or Spence had an off night. Whatever the reason, Spence took the loss like a man and he should be applauded for that. To the fans that are bashing him and have turned their back on him, you guys are some fake fans. Spence took a high level risk and came up short. Ain’t that what y’all supposedly want? For fighters to risk more in the ring? Well, Spence did that and even Crawford gave credence to that truth when he told him that the fight would have never happened had it not been for Spence. Spence is a great fighter and I’m not going to discard. And even if he is done, what he accomplished is admirable. Great fighters lose but it’s the way they rise back from a defeat that truly makes them great. Think back to the four kings and how they all suffered major defeats inside and outside of the ring.

Errol didn't come up short. Errol got flogged and dismembered. The scary thing is his opponent did it while never leaving first gear.

Lara isn't losing to slow-footed Danny. When presented with the Garcia fight, Erislandy jumped in it with all fours. I think they fight in two or three weeks at Barclays.

Which world class fighters? He dominated good welterweights - Ugas and Porter - and his best win was against another very good welterweight (at that time) in Kell Brook. Garcia didn't do anything at 147 and Mikey Garcia was a blown up featherweight or if you wanna be gracious, a blown-up lightweight.

I never had Spence in my pound for pound tip ten. He was even consistently above Canelo these last years when Canelo has challenged himself a lot more and achieved a lot more. Beterbiev has a similar record to Spence (stayed in same division) but every win was a stoppage - yet people crap on Beterbiev.

You can downplay a lot of the fighters all you want but they're world class. Very skilled at what they do and tough. Just because they aren't a jack of all trades doesn't mean they aren't top of the line fighters.

None of them belong in the HOF. Of the four, Porter and Thurman have the best cases. Keith beat Danny and Shawn and has a very close loss to Manny. Porter fought everyone from his era at 147 except Bradley and has no bad losses on his resume. In my book, both come up short of the HOF, but are closer than Errol or Danny.
