We're going in circles because you can't comprehend the notion that Boxing is not aired on network TV because the money isn't there. It is why Boxing left network TV in the 1st place, but yet you assume Floyd is this brilliant businessman to where he could just up and walk to NBC or ABC and make a card happen because he's Floyd. The networks don't care. It's bad enough we can't get decent undercards on PPV, but a network that hasn't aired Boxing in close to 20 years is going to put together this meaningless card and make Floyd the headliner against Joe Smith? You think audiences are that naive?

LOL see what I mean? You ASSUME the networks are going to dish out money for Floyd. But they're not, because he stands to make more money fighting on PPV. Floyd hasn't fought on Regular HBO for years let alone network TV.

Floyd isn't trying to be a global star, he's about his money and he knows who gives it to him. He won't see PPV revenues from network TV nor will network TV promote an event like HBO does (which is really who sells Floyd's fights).

Again dude, you oversell Floyd like he's the Michael Jackson of Boxing. Floyd vs Marquez did a Million buys because of how well HBO once again promoted the fight. Floyd going to network TV would be like being an FBI agent being demoted to deputy of such and such county. It's like you're asking for a paycut on purpose. No network is paying Floyd a guaranteed $10 million and trust me he's fighting for nothing less.

I was thinking the same. Mayweather wait, didn't he have a 2 year layoff? Why not a stay busy fight against Isaac Hlatshwayo (IBF WW Champ) or Cory Spinks (IBF Jr MW Champ) or Clottey. Those are good stay busy fights.
