That's not how it should be though. PBC should not have been shutting him out of those fights while they remained under the Haymon Protection Plan. For all the talk of Arum keeping things in-house, PBC was doing the same thing. Stop cheerleading for promoters and managers. They should all be doing their best to make title fights, unification bouts and the best fighting the best.

Haymon didn't protect Ruiz from Joshua! He didn't protect Wilder from Fury! He didn't protect Fulton from Inoue! "It Is What It Is!"

None of those fighters you named were PPV attractions or money machines. Wilder didn't earn more than $2 million until he fought Fury. 39 fights against no-hopers didn't pay off. It was time to step up, there was no place else to go. Joshua was ripe for the plucking, Ruiz beat him first time around. Again, stop cheering on promoters and managers, they are part of the problem. This tribalism in boxing is part of what is hurting the sport.

You gonna find whatever excise you need! Crawford made a HORRIBLE choice re-signing with TR, but it's all good now! PBC has made him a PPV Star now!

Thought the fight week buzz would get more casuals to buy in to push it up.
It had some buzz on fight night but the fight wasn’t marketing very well IMO for having all the WW titles at stake.

No excuses, for years PBC refused to even acknowledge Bud as a champion. They locked him out. Crawford made nearly as much money staying with TR and being the top dog, achieved undisputed at 140. You're talking like an idiot cheerleader. PBC didn't build Bud's career. None of their fighters are superstars that were built from the ground up under their promotion or management. Floyd built Tank, and it took Canelo, Manny and Fury, and Ryan to make PBCs biggest fights.

Why should PBC operate differently than Arum or Hearn?

You and others are irrationally hating on PBC. When called on that, the claim is the other poster is cheerleading.

well what do you call it when you and others only criticize one promotion?

You posted Arum is doing the same thing- yet you have never called it the Arum Protection Plan.

You criticize PBC for bad scorecards, but not TR.

You post they should all be doing their best to make fights, yet you didnt call out TR for making Haney join them before getting a title shot.

Ive been to plenty of sporting events. Cheerleaders only boo the other team. That is exactly what you and others do when it comes to boxing promotions.

I've criticized Arum, Oscar, DAZN, and other promoters here. But it's the PBC fans who are constantly dividing the boxing community with their cheerleading of promoters which is silly and tribal.

Haney didn't fight anyone at that time, he was in no position to be a shot-caller. Again, tribal mindsets are constantly quarreling over promoters and managers. For years Spence said he did not want this fight. Haymon blocked his fighters from challenging Crawford, they would not even recognize the WBO. Crawford re-signed with TR because he was chasing the big Manny payday that never came about. I've criticized Arum plenty on here, you only pay attention when someone criticizes PBC.
