Mexico's two-division world champion, Oscar Valdez, is more motivated than ever for what could mark the beginning of a historic rivalry. Valdez will challenge three-division world champion and countryman Emanuel Navarrete for his WBO junior lightweight world title on Saturday, August 12, at Desert Diamond Arena in Glendale, Arizona.

This can't be a boring fight.

I'm still undecided on this, to be honest.

The version of Valdez seen against Adam Lopez in the last fight would be run over by Navarrete, but perhaps Oscar will rise to the occasion once more.

As per the former hypothesis, I'd currently bet on a late KO win for Navarrete. If he hits Valdez as much as Lopez did, this time Oscar could crumble. Navarrete is no Berchelt.

NO it could not be a boring fight but it sure could be a short fight. We had two definitive winners last week in total destructions over rounds. Maybe this one will take a dif route and be over more quickly but also just as definite.

I like both these athletes. Just excited for the match up. I will flip a coin 7 times and let that decide who I pick because I have no idea,

More like Inoue's coming. Let's fight and earn money before he gets to us.

Very possible. Both guys are punchers and we've seen both guys hurt and on the canvas before, so it just adds to the anticipation. Hopefully it ain't as one-sided as both those fights you addressed. This one has possible FOTY potential written all over it IMO.
