It’s funny how British fans are so desperate to pretend as if their boxers are on par with Americans yet all of their boxers seek out American trainers. Khan with roach and Hunter, Lewis with steward, fury with sugar hill, Aj with Garcia and now James, Benn with Roy and now Bomac. The switch worked well for Lewis and fury but for the rest, no coach will be able to perform the level of miracle necessary.
It doesn't matter who trains Jr. he's simply never been top draw and has always lived off the name .What talent he has or had he's blown with his arrogance and ******ity. The great chin and engine don't exist any more and only last year he was shouting about how Roy would be his coach for life ...seems like Roy has moved on from this arrogant prat.

If you want to be childish about it, you could just as easily say that British fighters must be on a par with Americans, otherwise top US trainers wouldn't be interested in working with them.
