The problem with fans is that we have very short memories. Bob Arum rid himself of Bud because he claimed he could not sell even though he was talented.

Post the Spence fight, now some fans are thumbing their noses at young and upcoming fighers like Boots who wants the smoke.

Is this the same Bud who fought David Avanesyan prior to Spence?!?
And now Boots is not worthy of his time because "nobody" knows him.
    PULEEZE
I literally said the opposite of saying he is unworthy, so chill out

Avanesyan was an easy 10 milly tune up fight. Whereas when a fighter fights an opponent like Boots they want the recognition and the money, of fighting that caliber of fighter. Boots doesnt bring any of that yet. Thats the problem. Why would you want to fight a killer if you wont get recognition or money?

We all hope Bud takes that fight, but I just doubt it happens, because it doesn't necessarily make a lot of sense from Buds perspective. And I will reiterate, no one knows who Boots is, and that is a shame. Like its really surprised me how no one mentioned him at all. After the fight, the pundits, the commentators, all the post fight media attention

More than likely they will be a rematch at 154. If Crawford takes the Boots fight I will be watching.
Because its just talk. Anytime a decent fight is offered his way, his pops finds a way to kill it......

He isn't affiliated with Haymon. Ennis is on the wrong side of the street. Crawford fights Spence at 154 next, then he tries to fight Charlo. Ennis will fight for a vacant title when Crawford moves to 154.

Put your money where you team's mouth his Mr. Boots. You have the backing of a premier network called Showtime CBS. Tell your management team to start the talks. Talk is cheap.

Ennis is probably the best fight for Crawford from all the welterweight. Crawford is not affiliated with Hayman as well.

And I feel Ennis needs to earn a Crawford fight properly, not beat some cherry picked opponent in an eliminator against a guy who clearly shouldn't have got that fight. He needs to beat a Thurman or someone like that, to earn a Crawford fight. Problem is, other than Thurman, there's no real opponent out there. All the rest are up and comers like Ennis, who are equally as unproven and undeserving. Crawford only has one option at 47 and that's Thurman. Other than that, he needs to go to 54, and let the unproven bunch, prove themselves against each other for the vacant titles.

You mean “earn a Crawford shot” the way Brooks and Khan did? Is that what you mean?
So according to you, Thurman is a worthwhile opponent for Bud because once upon a time (over three years ago) he was a title holder.
Only a casual would spew such malarkey
