Prograis JUMPED at the chance to fight Devin Haney! When he signed to MatchRoom, and they asked about Subriel Matias, he said "Maybe the 3rd fright in the deal!" BOOOO! Glad Matias didn't sign!

Yeah, that's true. The sport always needs characters and tough guys. Not a fan of Prograis, but I'm even less a fan of Haney so it wouldn't bother me at all to see Prograis win that matchup. I'd really much rather see Teofimo take Haney's 0 though.

WBC was quick to name Haney "Champion in Recess" yet they refuse to do the same for Charlo who hasn't defended his title in more than 2 years!

What makes you prefer Teo over Haney, likeable wise?

This guy is gonna lose because he worrying about the wrong things.

What does Haney's belts have to do with him? How do they affect him and what happens in the ring?

I think if Haney wins he will stay at 140 and try to unify.

Haney is the champ. Just like Haney was the one in charge when he offered 25% to Shakur.

140 is a weak division, it has been for a long time. I don't think Haney is ducking Shakur, I think he's looking to leverage the best fights he can for titles and a good payday. I would like to see a Loma rematch but I doubt he gives him one. Maybe a Loma/Shakur eliminator for Haney's titles would be a step in the right direction, but Haney has struggled to make 135 and doesn't want to end up like Spence.
